Good Clinical Practice Training

 

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training is manadated for all research staff participating in clinical trials. GCP training certification is required to be re-newed on a 3-yearly basis. All GCP training providers in South Africa are required to meet industry determined curriculum and GCP trainer criteria. The curriculum must incorporate both local and international guideline requirements.

 

All GCP courses must be submitted to the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) accreditation offices for Continued Professional Development (CPD) points allocation which is annually renewable.
